Dermatologist dots, mole???

I want to get my DOts, spot, mole. What do you call those when you have black or brown dots in your skin? I want to remove those. what do i need to know to remove mole or whatever they are called. Do i need to contact my family doctor? Does my insurence cover it? How much would it cost.|||Your insurance will probably only cover it if it%26#039;s medically necessary, not if it%26#039;s cosmetic. You should have a dermatologist do it, but you can ask your family doctor.|||dude there called freckles u cant get rid of them|||They are usually called moles if they are dark brown or black, especially if they are raised. If they are really small, they could just be freckles.

To have a mole removed, you should see your primary care physician for an evaluation. If your mole looks suspicious, then he will either remove it for a biopsy or refer you to a dermatologist for a biopsy. If it does NOT look suspicious, it can still be removed but generally insurance will not cover this because it is considered strictly for cosmetic purposes. Cost varies depending on why you need it removed, how big it is, how deep it goes, if stitches are required, laboratory fees, etc. Your best bet is to get it evaluated and ask for an estimate before you let them do anything (if it%26#039;s not covered by insurance).

Hope this helps.
