Dermatologist...?

I have mild acne and I%26#039;m going to the derm for the first time tomorrow.


Whattt should I expect; will they think I%26#039;m just another stupid teenage girl freaking out because of a few pimples, when that%26#039;s not true; and would it be appropriate to ask them about my insanely not cute undereye bags?





thanks =]|||My daughter%26#039;s dermatologist is very nice. He listens to her everytime we are there. He takes her seriously. Listen to me on this though. As far as the acutane, I doubt it will be brought up if you acne is mild, but if it is that is a VERY serious decision to be made by your parents, you and the doc. No one else. My kids have bad acne. Doxycycline worked the best on my daughter but it caused other problems so he did put her on the accutane. Never again will anyone in my family take it. It ended up making her suicidal in the end. I%26#039;m not saying it happens to everyone, but it is a very serious side effect of the medicine. Make your decisions wisely.|||They see everything...they understand. Ask everything! Yeah and why your there ask anything you want, your the one paying for it and that%26#039;s why they are there. Have you ever seen the proactive commercial I%26#039;ve heard it really works.|||Its their job thats what they are paid to do. They could care less about your age|||Best advice is to start drinking lots of water cut out milk as its full of hormones from cows that are permanently pregnant stop eating salt as iodine affects acne eat lots of fresh fruit and veg and there you go clear skin!!|||No they won%26#039;t think that at all. I%26#039;ve been going to a dermo for years and they are very understanding about things.|||dermatologists will just give you acne cream...they wont deny you and say you dont need it ...atleast mine didnt...and askk about it..before I go I search myself of everything and ask away...i dont think they will not help you..its kind of their job...|||Tell him/her you want accutane no if ands or butts about it. if they say its to strong tell%26#039;em who%26#039;s taking it you or I?
