If your cheeks are saggy, i am not old i am in my 20's, what would i do, can a dermatologist help or any?

strokes? my cheeks are pointing downwards and my friends noticed it. and i also noticed that it is not aligned properly,,,|||No, dermatologist would not help I dont%26#039; think. This sounds like something has happened to the supportive structures that keep the skin firm and in place.

That could be anything and one possible cause aside from stroke, is your teeth. The bone structure and bone mass around the jaw/cheek bones could be an underlining problem which maybe causing your face to sag.

Again it could be the muscles in the face, something may have almost paralysed them.

Please seek help with a doctor or some health advisor on this because it is not normal. See a dentist and get an xray done or something to check on any bone loss or problems (periodontal gum disease or anything else, which is often insidious and does not always produce pain or symptoms). Look to see for receding gums etc.

If you take care of things bit by bit and eliminate any possible causes, you%26#039;ll get closer to the real problem. It does sound like it%26#039;s either bone related or muscle related. Something has lost it%26#039;s ability to hold up the structure in your face. It is not age, but there is something amiss.|||hmm i don%26#039;t think that is something you%26#039;d see a dermatologist about?!? You could try but I don%26#039;t know if they could do anything to treat that... maybe a plastic surgeon.

Is it that bad?

but if it is saggy on one side (you said it is not aligned properly) --that could be a sign of a PALSY--- that disease. there are a few different palsys. But that probably isn%26#039;t what it is, probably just genetics/nature/life... (unless, it happened all of a sudden, like in the past few yrs--then it could be something more)

I wouldn%26#039;t worry about it, but you could try a dermatologist or just your normal doctor (if it is something that has just happened recently)...

a stroke could do that, a palsy (there is bells palsy or cerebral palsy)...
