Dermatologist?

how much would it cause to see a dermatologist?


i have insurance.


my acne is mild but nothing will work on it.


how many visits did you take and how much were the medications???


thanks=D|||Well since the dermatologist is a specialist it normally costs more to see them. I pay $50 a visit and I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. It really depends on your insurance company.


I went because I have moderate acne one year ago and I had to go in every 6 weeks to get a liquid nitrogen treatment and he checked to see how the medicines he put me on were working. I stopped going after about 4 months but I%26#039;m going back tomorrow because i%26#039;ve been breaking out for the past 2 months again. Its very frustrating I know but most dermatologists know what they are doing and will put you on good medications. Just be patient.


Oh and the medications he put me on were very expensive but he gave me coupons for them. The pill I was on would have cost me $120 but I got a $100 off of it. All the medications he put me on I had coupons for so they were relatively cheap.

PS: If you don%26#039;t have a dermatologist expect to wait a couple months for an appointment. I called in October and my appointment wasn%26#039;t until Feburary!
