Going to the dermatologist?

i%26#039;m going to be going to my dermotologist for the first time in like 20 years. Do most dermotoligists sell products that will lighten your freckles or will they most likely do chemical peels and stuff like that? I don%26#039;t want to go and waste 100 dollars on a visit just to find out that they don%26#039;t sell products like that. I called and all i was told was to come in so they can take a look. Not gonna happen! Also, ever since the day i was born i have had itchy skin that i can itch til it bleeds. It drives me crazy because the itchy won%26#039;t go away then i itch it til its raw then it hurts like crazy. This is an on going process. Any one ever heard of this?|||Going to the derm. for the dry skin is a good idea. Sounds like you need a good strong lotion. The derm. may give you samples but probably a Rx for anything else. I had itchy skin and they gave a Rx to relief the itch. Go to a medical spa to purchase products they recommend. Mine (Atlantic med spa) has a derm. running the place and helped me with red blotches around my nose! (allergies) I got a facial and a diagnosis for 80.00. The lotion to clear up the spots was 12.00. Try lotions with either hemp seed oil or dimithicone. Stay away from anything with mineral oil in it including baby oil. It clogs your pores and dries it out even more!! Eucherin lotion has an itch relief moisturizer you can try too!|||I got a cheap bleach treatment from Avon for dark spots

what comes with the itch is there bumps or dryness

might be:*psoriasis *dermatitis * eczema

or you might have mites like scabies

if you have scabies you use a dermal cream like Nix

* also usually ppl with skin conditions have a bit of a liver problem,I would use a milk thistle for a liver protectant

and maybe go to your health food store and ask for a liver

cleanser|||the itch part sounds medical/see dr on that/the other they do have otc for that at stores/good luck
