Becoming a dermatologist?

well i was doing my career stuff in school and i look under skin specialist and like they said you dont need college and like you only get paid 13.07 dollars and hour is a skin specialist the same as a dermatologist? because if it is why would they pay so little? is it hard being a dermatologist? how many years after high school? some say 4 and then 2 but some say 8 then 4|||No, a skin specialist is not a dermatologist. A dermatologist has a 4 year college degree (bachelors), 4 years of medical school, and 4 years of residency to become licensed.
