Some of you may not know, but it takes MONTHS to get into the dermatologist. Well My mom had scheduled an appointment in May and it has finally arrived for this Friday, July 31. The problem is--I have little to no acne! Can the dermatologist still give me medicine for it? I usually get acne during school. (stressed related) And I start in 3 weeks. Could he still give me meds? I really want them, just in case I break out badly again!|||Yeah he can. You still need to explain why you%26#039;re there and what problems you%26#039;re having with your skin. The first time I went to the dermatologist my skin had pretty much cleared up and she still gave me stuff (fortunately because I broke out after :( )|||ya, do you have any pictures of yourself during the school year with bad acne? if so, then bring them to your appt. and show the doc. what happens during the school year (or other stressed- related times)
he should still give you some meds to help the acne during the school year, or give you tips as to how to ease your stress so the acne does not come on|||i think you should find pix of you with it so he can see wat he is doing
